English Teacher – Secondary (MPS/UPS + ECTs Welcome)

Educate Recruitment Hub is working in partnership with a high-performing secondary school in the Stoke-on-Trent area to recruit a passionate Teacher of English to join their team in September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for either a qualified teacher or ECT to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, within a school that offers excellent CPD, a supportive culture, and a genuine commitment to staff wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
*
Plan and assess in line with the national curriculum
*
Contribute to wider school life and enrichment activities
*
Act as a form tutor and support pastoral development
*
Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and safeguarding
The Ideal Candidate:
*
Holds UK QTS (or is an ECT with placement experience)
*
Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language
*
Is a team player with excellent communication skills
*
Demonstrates commitment to inclusion, equity, and professional growth
*
Is enthusiastic, proactive, and reflective in their practice
