Tara Professional Recruitment is proud to be supporting a successful and welcoming secondary school in North Shropshire, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, in their search for a part-time English Teacher.
This role is to start in September 2025, working 4 days per week, and will initially run until October, with the potential to be extended until Christmas.

* Well-resourced classrooms and positive student engagement
* Accessible location for candidates based in Telford, Shrewsbury, Whitchurch, and surrounding areas
* Large secondary school with excellent facilities
📌 The Role:
* Delivering high-quality English lessons from Key Stage 3 through to Key Stage 5
* Planning engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Assessing and monitoring pupil progress to support continued improvement
✅ Candidate Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Recent teaching experience in UK secondary schools
* Strong subject knowledge in English
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
