About the Role:
As a Teacher of English, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across KS3 - KS4, with the potential to lead classes at KS5. A love of literature, writing, and language skills is key to the role, to inspire and aid students in achieving academically, with creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach English Language and Literature to KS3 and KS4 students
Develop creative, engaging, and creative lessons
Assess and monitor student progress
Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Contribute to the development of the English departmentRequirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (preferred)
Relevant Degree to English/Teaching (preferred)
Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 (essential)
Strong communication and organisational skills
Based in, or reliably commutable to Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire
Enhanced DBS Checked, Safeguarding Trained (or willing to apply/complete)
