Location: Near Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: To scale -dependent on experience

Supply Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded school near Melton Mowbray for an exceptional Teacher of Geography and Politics.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Deliver outstanding Geography and Politics lessons that inspire, challenge and motivate students.

  * Foster curiosity, critical thinking and independent learning.

  * Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.

  * Support students to achieve beyond their highest potential, both academically and personally.

  * Contribute to the ongoing development of an ambitious and engaging curriculum.

  * Promote the development of students' personal, social and employability skills.

  * Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  * Experience teaching Geography and/or Politics at Key Stage 5.

  * A proven track record of delivering outstanding lessons and securing excellent student outcomes.

  * High expectations of student achievement and behaviour.

  * Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.

  * A commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.

  * A passion for helping young people succeed both in education and beyond.

  * A valid DBS or willing to apply for one
