Are you a dynamic History Teacher looking for your next exciting role? Teacher of History Full-time January 2026 - July 2026 (possibly extending into 2026/2027 academic year) £168 - £232 per day Vision for Education are excited to present an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher of History to join a highly regarded secondary school in Manchester. About the role As a passionate and dedicated History Teacher, you will effectively deliver engaging lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4 on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will play a vital role in supporting students to achieve their goals, working with the school to drive standards and attainment. Starting in January 2026, the maternity cover role will continue until July 2026, with the posibility of extending into the 2026/2027 academic year. About the school Our client school is proud to have a strong curriculum and extra curricular offering, with a high value placed on sport and healthy living. Students display high levels of commitment to their learning. Behaviour for learning is good and disruption to lessons is minimal. Requirements As an outstanding classroom practitioner, with a drive to improve the life chances of young people through education, the successful applicant: • Will hold Qualified Teacher Status - QTS • Must be able to motivate, challenge and inspire pupils to succeed in History • Must be committed to improving the outcomes for all pupils • Will hold high expectations of themselves and pupils • Will have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and improve practice in themselves and others • Will be up to date with relevant pedagogy and apply this to their teaching • Able to provide suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
