Key Responsibilities:
* Have regard for the need to safeguard pupils’ well-being following statutory provisions
* Plan and deliver an engaging and inclusive Mathematics curriculum tailored to meet the diverse needs of all students in line with the National Curriculum
* Set high standards that inspire and motivate learners, ensuring they reach their potential
* Assess, record, and report on student progress while maintaining accurate records
* Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment following the school’s behaviour policy
* Take responsibility for improving teaching through appropriate professional development, responding to advice and feedback from colleagues
* Communicate effectively with parents and other professionals about pupils’ achievements and well-being
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level
* Up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum (Mathematics)
* Read the DfE ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ (2024) document
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
