Salary: £34,492 - £41,140 per annum (dependent on experience)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Maths to join a high-performing team, supporting learners to develop their numeracy skills and achieve their GCSE Maths qualifications.

Role Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lessons in GCSE and Functional Skills Maths, primarily to construction and vocational learners.
Plan and assess learning in line with college policies, ensuring all students are supported to achieve their goals.
Track and monitor student progress through effective feedback and assessment.
Collaborate with vocational teams to embed numeracy within practical learning.
Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring teaching is relevant and inspiring.
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student wellbeing and achievement.
Essential Requirements
Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject area.
Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one.
Experience teaching GCSE Maths in FE or secondary education.
Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
Ability to motivate and support learners, particularly those in vocational programmes.
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
