Salary: £160 - £250 per day (depending on experience)
GSL Education are recruiting qualified and enthusiastic Maths Teachers to join our partner secondary schools across Birmingham, with a focus on the Great Barr and Handsworth areas. We welcome applications for full-time, part-time, supply, and long-term positions starting September 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and GCSE/A-Level.
Design and adapt lesson materials to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Use a range of teaching strategies and ICT resources to enhance student learning and progress.
Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes discipline, respect, and achievement.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with curriculum objectives.
Participate in CPD, staff meetings, parent evenings, and contribute to whole-school development.
Candidate Requirements:
Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards it.
Recent experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school setting.
Strong subject knowledge and ability to deliver outstanding lessons.
Commitment to behaviour management, safeguarding, and student welfare.
Ability to set clear targets and use data to support pupil progress.
Hold a Child-Only Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply through GSL Education.
Right to work in the UK.
