Secondary Teacher of Media - Canterbury Job Title: Teacher of Media Key Stage: 4 & 5 Location: Canterbury Start Date: January 2026 Salary: £165 to £260 per day (PAYE) Full/Part Time: Full TimeSecondary Teacher of Media - Canterbury Academics have been approached by a well-respected secondary school in Canterbury who are seeking a Teacher of Media for a full time role. This contract is starting in January and will run until the end of the academic year. There is a strong possibility of a permanent contract being offered at the end of the contract. What you'll need to succeed: Be a qualified Teacher (QTS - PGCE, B.Ed, GTP) Be experienced in planning an appropriate and challenging curriculum Have a thorough knowledge of present curriculum developments, particularly those relating to Media Be an inspiring teacher with real enthusiasm for the subject Be able to motivate their students Be committed to high standards for both staff and students Be prepared to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school.
