Teacher of PE (Maternity Cover) - Derby Secondary School
Location: Derby
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Maternity Cover
Salary: Paid to scale
Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a successful and inclusive Secondary School in Derby to recruit a Teacher of PE to cover a maternity leave starting in September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic PE teacher to join a supportive and well-resourced department. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, promoting active lifestyles, teamwork, and sporting excellence.
Key Requirements:
PGCE in Secondary Education (PE or relevant subject)
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Child Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
A passion for PE and a commitment to student progress and wellbeing
