We are currently working in partnership with a forward-thinking secondary school in Cardiff that is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher of Religious Education to join their team for the new academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire creativity and innovation in pupils aged 11-16, and to play a key role in a supportive and well-resourced department.
✅ Position Details:
Role: Religious Education/ Studies Teacher (NQT/ECTs welcome)
Location: Cardiff, South Wales
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, long-term (with the potential for permanent)
Pay: £166 - £222 per day (dependent on experience and pay scale)
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and enlightening Religious Education lessons across KS3 and KS4
Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the national curriculum
Contribute to a positive learning environment that supports academic and personal development
Participate in departmental planning, meetings, and school events
Support and mentor pupils with varying abilities and needs
Who We're Looking For:
QTS or working towards QTS (suitable for NQTs/ECTs)
Specialism in Religious Education (other subjects experienced advantageous)
Strong classroom management and excellent subject knowledge
Passion for the subject and enthusiasm for fostering an interest in creating global citizens
Willingness to become part of a collaborative and committed team
