Prospero Teaching is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in South Somerset that is seeking an experienced Teacher of Science to lead the subject up to Key Stage 4. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and skilled educator to take on a leadership role in a supportive and ambitious school environment.
The Role:
· Full-time teaching position starting in September 2025
· Subject Leader for Science (KS3-KS4)
· Planning and delivering engaging science lessons
· Leading and supporting a team of science teachers
· Monitoring student progress and driving attainment
Requirements:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
· Proven experience teaching Science up to KS4
· Previous leadership or subject coordination experience preferred
· Strong classroom management and communication skills
· Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Additional Information:

· Enhanced DBS check and professional references are required as part of our vetting process
