Job Description
Teacher of Science (Biology & Chemistry) - Wirral - Part Time
Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Teacher of Science (Biology and Chemistry) to join one of our successful secondary school partners on the Wirral. This is a part-time role (0.6 over 4 days per week), starting after October half-term and continuing for the remainder of the academic year. The position offers a competitive daily rate of up to £232.56 per day, depending on experience.

The Role
As a Teacher of Science, you will:
Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Biology and Chemistry at KS3 and KS4.
Plan and assess lessons in line with the school's curriculum and assessment policies.
Inspire and motivate students to develop a passion for Science.
Contribute to the wider life of the school, supporting its ethos and values.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Biology and Chemistry in a secondary school setting.
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver lessons that engage and stretch learners.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
