Job Description
Veritas Education is proud to be working in partnership with a thriving secondary school in Kirklees to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic department and make a real impact on students' learning and progress in science.
Role Overview
Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics depending on specialism).
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
Assess student progress and contribute to raising attainment.
Support the wider school ethos and participate in extracurricular activities where appropriate.
Candidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school setting.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
