TeacherActive are working in partnership with a well-established and high-achieving secondary school in the Birmingham area.

Languages play an important part in the curriculum, with a focus on cultural awareness, communication and confidence.

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Teacher of Spanish to join a forward-thinking Modern Foreign Languages department from January.

The successful teacher will teach Spanish across KS3 and KS4, supporting GCSE learners to excel and develop a love for language learning.

The successful Teacher of Spanish will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status in the UK
Plan and deliver engaging Spanish lessons to KS3 and KS4 groups
Support and monitor pupil progress through effective assessment and feedback
Foster an environment that promotes curiosity, cultural understanding and achievement
Contribute to the wider MFL curriculum and enrichment where required
Work collaboratively with colleagues to raise standards across the department
Hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
