Teacher of the Deaf – Luton – Negotiable Daily Rate – Full Time – Immediate Start – Secondary School – KS3 & KS4 Teacher of the Deaf – Luton Teacher of the Deaf – Immediate Start Teacher of the Deaf – Secondary School (KS3 & KS4) Teacher of the Deaf – Must hold a mandatory qualification in teaching deaf children (MQ – HI) Are you a qualified Teacher of the Deaf with experience working in secondary schools? Do you hold the mandatory qualification (MQ – HI) to teach children with hearing impairments? Are you confident adapting lessons to meet the needs of deaf students across KS3 and KS4? If you answered yes to the above, then this Teacher of the Deaf role is for you! The Role – Teacher of the Deaf A secondary school in Luton is seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Deaf to join their SEND team on a full-time, temporary basis. You will support students with hearing impairments across KS3 and KS4, adapting mainstream content and delivering specialist support where needed. To be successful, you must hold the mandatory qualification to teach deaf children (MQ – HI) and have experience with communication methods such as BSL, lip reading, or auditory-verbal therapy. Class sizes are small, and you’ll work closely with the SENCO and other specialist staff.
