Teacher of the Deaf – Islington – £55,000 – £60,000 per day – Full Time – September 2025 Start – Long-Term Role Teacher of the Deaf – Full-time, long-term position Teacher of the Deaf – September 2025 start Teacher of the Deaf – £180–£250 per day Teacher of the Deaf – Must hold a mandatory qualification in teaching deaf children (MQ – Deaf Education) Teacher of the Deaf – Ideal for experienced SEND teachers with a passion for inclusive education Are you a qualified Teacher of the Deaf passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with hearing impairments? Do you have experience working with deaf pupils in a primary school or specialist provision? Would you like to join a warm, inclusive primary school in the heart of Islington? The Role – Teacher of the Deaf We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Teacher of the Deaf to join a forward-thinking primary school in Islington from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term role ideal for someone who is committed to improving access to learning and communication for pupils with hearing impairments. You will be working closely with class teachers, the SENDCo, and specialist staff to adapt and deliver the curriculum using a Total Communication approach, including British Sign Language (BSL), speech, and visual aids. Your role will involve both one-to-one support and small group interventions, ensuring that all pupils feel empowered and included in their learning journey.
