Teacher of the Deaf                                                                                  Crawley £33,075- £50,471 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications) September 2025 Vision for education are seeking to recruit a full-time teacher to join the SEN department for a local school and become part of a cohesive, professional and supportive team. You will work collaboratively with the Head of Department to further strengthen the provisions for Deaf and Visually Impaired students, raising the standards of student achievement. This coeducational school is looking for someone to join their dedicated team of professionals aiming to support students in becoming independent learners and promote social inclusion within the school. Requirements: The desired teacher will be; an experienced teacher who will strive to improve the quality of education and learning opportunities of students who are deaf or have a hearing loss a teacher who can enthuse, motivate and engage students and is committed to excellence and high student achievement a teacher who can teach KS3 and KS4 a teacher with a passion for working with young people and a perseverance to make a difference to them and their future a teacher with a focus on their own professional development and a drive to work with us to become the best teacher they can be At least Level 3 in BSL Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults. We take our responsibilities extremely seriously. All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
