SEN Science Teacher
Remedy are seeking an experienced and nurturing Part-Time SEN Teacher to join a specialist provision based in Colchester. You will be supporting children and young people with a range of special educational needs, including SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health), ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), and associated learning difficulties.

The therapeutic provision offers a safe, supportive environment where pupils receive tailored education and therapeutic support to help them thrive. They use a holistic, trauma-informed approach to nurture emotional well-being and academic growth, ensuring each child's needs are fully met.
About The Role:
Deliver creative, individualised teaching and learning plans
Work closely with therapists, support staff, and families to create a cohesive support network
Foster a positive, calm, and inclusive classroom environment
Monitor progress and adapt strategies to ensure each learner achieves their potential
Maintain accurate records in line with EHCPs and provision requirements
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
Proven experience teaching pupils with SEN, particularly SEMH and ASD
A trauma-informed, child-centred approach to education
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A calm, flexible and empathetic nature
