Salary: £31,650 - £43,607 per annum
Hours: Monday-Friday, Term-time only

Long Term Futures are seeking a committed SEMH Teacher to join a specialist school in Leicestershire. This is an exciting opportunity to teach in a supportive, high-staffing environment, delivering a curriculum adapted to the needs of children with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). You'll work alongside skilled Teaching Assistants, therapists, and behaviour support staff.
The School:
The school provides a calm, consistent, and nurturing setting for children aged 4-16 who face barriers to learning due to SEMH needs. With small class sizes, a high staff-to-pupil ratio, and a strong therapeutic ethos, the team work collaboratively to design personalised learning pathways that address both academic and emotional development.
The Role:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needs
Create a structured classroom environment that supports emotional regulation and positive behaviour
Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and leadership staff to maximise pupil progress
Implement trauma-informed and relational behaviour strategies
Track progress, adapt planning, and maintain strong relationships with students, staff, and familiesWhat We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE
Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) or SEMH
Strong behaviour management and classroom leadership skills
