The role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across the school, helping to create a positive, nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Working alongside the class teacher, you will assist with lessons, deliver small-group support and occasionally provide 1:1 teaching assistant guidance where required. The school are looking for someone who is calm, proactive and committed to helping children grow academically and emotionally.
Responsibilities
Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
Assisting the class teacher with lessons and daily routines
Providing small-group interventions and teaching assistant support
Offering 1:1 guidance for pupils who require additional help
Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion
Helping children stay focused, motivated and engaged
Contributing to a safe, warm and supportive classroom environmentAbout the school
Supportive and friendly staff team
Strong emphasis on pupil well-being and positive relationships
Well-resourced classrooms and modern facilitiesThe ideal candidate
Confident, patient and able to build strong relationships
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, enthusiastic and committed to education
Understanding of safeguarding and school policies
Full clean UK driving license Safeguarding
