Teaching Assistant / After school club support (Part-Time) - Islington Primary School
12pm-6pm Monday to Friday, during school term time
Are you a passionate and dedicated Early Years professional looking for a rewarding role in a vibrant Islington primary school? Tempest Resourcing is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team from September supporting Reception-aged children.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning experience for young learners.
The Role:
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the children's daily routine, supporting their learning and development both inside and outside the classroom. Your typical day will look like this:
Support children during their lunch period, promoting good eating habits and social interaction.
Supervise and engage children during outdoor playtime, encouraging active play and exploration.
Provide in-class support, assisting the teacher with various activities and helping children with their learning tasks.
Lead or assist with the engaging extended day program, which includes a variety of after-school clubs. We'd particularly love to hear from you if you have a specific skill or interest that could be used to facilitate an after-school club (e.g., arts and crafts, sports, music, drama).We are looking for someone who is:
Experienced in working with Early Years children.
Patient, nurturing, and genuinely enjoys working with young children.
Proactive, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
