Teaching Assistant – Aston, Birmingham (Primary & Secondary)
Location: Aston, Birmingham

Are you an experienced and motivated Teaching Assistant looking to make a real impact in the classroom? We are recruiting passionate and committed TAs to work across primary and secondary schools in the Aston area of Birmingham.

Responsibilities
*
Support teaching and learning in class under the guidance of the class teacher
*
Work with individuals and small groups of students to reinforce learning objectives
*
Assist in creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
*
Provide targeted support to pupils with SEN (Special Educational Needs), including those with ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties
*
Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure student safety and well-being
Requirements
*
Minimum 6 months of experience working with children in the UK (school, nursery, youth work or similar settings)
*
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
*
A genuine passion for supporting children’s education and development
*
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*
Experience or interest in supporting pupils with SEN is highly desirable
*
Ability to adapt to different school environments and follow direction from teaching staff
