Pay: £90- £100 per day depending on experience
Are you a caring, patient, and resilient teaching assistant looking to make a real difference in a child's life?
We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a primary-aged pupil with autism and personal care needs at a welcoming school in Nottingham. This is a supply role, with the potential for long-term placement for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide consistent 1:1 support to a child with autism, including academic, emotional, and social development.
Assist with personal care tasks in a respectful and dignified manner.
Implement strategies from EHCP and work closely with the SENCO and class teacher.
Use autism-friendly, structured approaches to support learning and behaviour.
You will need:
Experience supporting children with autism and/or complex SEND.
Confidence with personal care routines (e.g. toileting, changing).
A calm, nurturing and flexible approach to support a child's individual needs.
A valid Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) registered on the Update Service or willing to apply.
Availability for supply work in Nottingham.
