Are you a dedicated, reliable teaching assistant with a love for early years education? Do you have a passion for "learning through play" and a strong desire to assist in the speech and language development of a child with Autism? If so, this may be the role for you!
SANZA Teaching Agency are recruiting on behalf of a nurturing and inclusive primary school in Waltham Forest who are seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team.
About the role:
You will work closely with the early years team to support a young child with Autism, providing one-to-one personalised support.
This role requires someone who is confident with pre-verbal communication strategies and experienced in supporting speech and language development.
About you:
Have previous experience supporting children with Autism, ideally in an Early Years or primary setting
Is confident and skilled in using alternative communication methods
Has knowledge of early childhood development and strategies to support speech and language
Is comfortable with personal care responsibilities (if required)
Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a proactive approach
