SANZA Teaching Agency are currently recruiting for a teaching assistant to work 1:1 with a child who has Autism (mild), social and emotional difficulties, and Epilepsy.
We are specifically looking for a candidate who has training and experience in managing Epilepsy and administering first-aid for Epilepsy/seizures.
As a teaching assistant, you will:
Work on a 1:1 basis with a child with Autism and social and emotional difficulties
Provide medical assistance if the child was to have an Epileptic seizure
Provide dedicated support in class, helping students access learning materials
Help pupils stay focused and engaged during lesson
Support the use of learning aids and technology
Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO
Report concerns about pupil behaviour, learning, or safety
