Teaching Assistant Specification
We are currently seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant for a full-time, temp to perm position in a friendly and welcoming Primary School in Walsall. This role will be based in Year 2, supporting the class teacher and working closely with pupils who may need additional academic or emotional support.
To be considered, you must have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within Years 1-4, and demonstrate a supportive, engaging, and positive attitude in the classroom.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the classroom and potentially secure a permanent role. You'll be joining a positive and dedicated school community that values every member of the team.
You must have:
A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Experience supporting pupils in a UK Primary School setting
KS1 knowledge and experience, ideally within Year 2
The ability to nurture and build strong relationships with children
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
