The Primary School pride themselves on the exciting, highly effective and nurturing learning environment that they provide for all of their children. Their aim is to ensure that they provide an education which enables all children to succeed and be the best they possibly can. They inspire their pupils to play a part by taking responsibility for their own learning.
The Primary School are looking for a hands on Teaching Assistant / TA to support in their Foundation Phase working 1:1 with a child that has ALN. The successful Teaching Assistant / TA will be expected to liaise with the classroom teacher assisting with lesson plans, behaviour management and feedback on pupils that you work with to track their progress. The school will expect you to build relationships with the pupils to be able to tailor your teaching style to meet their specific needs of each individual child.
The successful Teaching Assistant / TA will have:
Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant / TA qualification OR 6 month experience in an educational establishment
Enjoyment in building relationships with children
Excellent patience skills
Ability to have an open mindset to situations
