We’re working with a fantastic secondary school in Halifax who are looking for a caring, proactive Teaching Assistant to join their team. This could be day-to-day supply but may develop into a long-term role in a welcoming school where you’ll have the chance to settle in, build relationships and make a real impact every single day. Whether you’ve worked in schools before or supported young people in another setting (youth work, coaching, childcare or beyond), this role offers stability, purpose and a great pathway into a future career in education. ✨ What you’ll be doing Supporting students in lessons to help them stay on track and make progress Working with teachers to create a positive, inclusive learning environment Providing 1:1 and small group support where needed Encouraging confidence, independence and engagement in learning Helping with classroom routines and building strong relationships with pupils What we’re looking for Experience working with or supporting young people (in school or out) A positive, patient and approachable style Strong communication and teamwork skills Flexibility, initiative and a genuine passion for helping students succeed Why join us?
