Teaching Assistant
Location: Hailsham
Pay: £89.05 – £100 per day
Hours: 08:30 – 15:30
Contract Type: Long-Term (Part-Time or Full-Time, Flexible)
Supply Desk is a nationwide education recruitment company specialising in Primary, SEND, and Secondary education. We place support staff in day-to-day and long-term placements across a wide network of Primary and Secondary schools throughout East Sussex, including Hailsham and surrounding areas.
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to join our team for roles starting from September. Opportunities are available for both day-to-day cover and longer-term placements, with full-time and part-time flexibility to suit your schedule.
Whether you have prior classroom experience or are simply passionate about supporting children's education and development, this is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and make a positive impact in a variety of primary school settings.
Key Responsibilities
Support the class teacher in delivering planned lessons and activities
Provide individual or small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs
Assist in preparing classroom resources and supporting general admin duties
Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Requirements
Experience working with children in a school or similar setting is desirable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A patient, caring, and adaptable attitude
A current, enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply)
