Job Description
Reeson Education are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive SEN school in Wandsworth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and motivated Teaching Assistant who wants to make a real impact in the lives of children with special educational needs.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and therapists to provide individual and small-group support, helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and develop essential life skills. The ideal Teaching Assistant will have a calm, patient, and proactive approach, with a genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide targeted 1:1 and group support for pupils with SEN
Assist teachers in creating engaging and inclusive lessons
Promote positive behaviour, independence, and confidence in pupils
Collaborate with staff and parents to ensure consistent support
Contribute to a nurturing, safe, and inspiring learning environment
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant (SEN experience desirable)
A caring and resilient attitude with a passion for helping children
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs
