The role:
Timeplan Education are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join a fantastic SEMH School in Enfield, supporting Secondary learners. You'll be working closely with teachers to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where every young person can reach their full potential.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
The School:
The School provides high-quality education for students with social, emotional, and mental health needs and Autism from the ages of 11- 18. The School have created a student-centered learning experience, which focuses on the needs of students, developing their self-esteem and helping them to build secure and lasting relationships.
Key skills
Experience working with young people in a School or youth setting (desirable)
Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
Act as a positive role model
Understanding of or interest in SEMH/Mental Health support
Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
