Are you a confident and caring support professional eager to make a difference in a primary school setting? Tradewind Recruitment is looking for Teaching Assistants and Support Staff across Bolton and Bury for:
Short-term daily cover - step in when teachers or TAs are absent and help maintain a positive classroom environment
Longer-term assignments - covering term-long roles or supporting extended absences
Temp-to-perm opportunities - a chance to transition into a permanent support role if you and the school find the right fit

You'll have:
Previous experience in a classroom or school setting (TA/support role, helping small groups, 1:1 support, or classroom cover)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills - able to support pupils, staff and adapt to different teams
Flexibility and a professional attitude - responding to different school routines, age ranges and learning needs
A good level of organisational and behavioural management skills - able to assist the teacher, support learning and maintain order
Willingness to undertake induction or training via Tradewind to refresh or enhance your TA skills
Ideal candidate:
You're someone who enjoys working with children, is adaptable and ready to join a team and step into new schools when needed. You may appreciate the variety of daily cover or you may prefer settling into one school long-term, with the potential for a permanent move if that feels right.
