Are you an enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a vibrant Birmingham school?
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming primary school in Bordesley Green, starting as soon as possible.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting pupils’ learning and wellbeing across the school day. You will work closely with class teachers to create a positive, engaging learning environment and help children reach their full potential.
Responsibilities include:
* Supporting pupils in class, in small groups, or one-to-one
* Assisting the teacher with lesson preparation and classroom activities
* Encouraging children’s participation and confidence in learning
* Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion
* Helping with administrative and classroom tasks as needed
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for a Teaching Assistant who:
* Has experience working with children in a school or childcare setting
* Is enthusiastic, patient, and supportive
* Can build strong relationships with pupils and staff
* Has good communication and teamwork skills
* Holds a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2/3) – desirable but not essential

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
