SEN Teaching Assistant - North Liverpool / Sefton Area
Salary: £85-£100 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, long-term - potential to go permanent for the right candidate
Start date: Immediate
Tradewind Recruitment are working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in the North Liverpool / Sefton area who are looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional learning needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or social, emotional and mental health needs. The role would suit a calm, resilient individual who can build positive relationships and provide consistent support across the school day.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils with identified SEN
Supporting the class teacher to deliver tailored interventions
Helping pupils to develop confidence, communication and independence
Using a range of strategies to promote positive behaviour and engagement
Working closely with the SENCO, class teacher and parents
We are looking for:
Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school-based or care setting)
A caring, patient and proactive approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to helping every child reach their potential
