Early Years Teaching Assistant - Lewisham
Location: Lewisham, South East London
Start Date: November 2025
Contract: Long-term (Full Academic Year)
Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm
Pay: From £100 per day (PAYE) / equivalent to £120 per day (Umbrella)
Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and community-focused mainstream primary school in the London Borough of Lewisham. This long-term opportunity begins in November and runs for the remainder of the academic year.
You will be working closely with the Early Years team to support children's learning and development, helping to create a nurturing and engaging environment where every child can thrive. The school is well-resourced, inclusive, and prides itself on its strong sense of community and commitment to pupil well-being.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience working as a Teaching Assistant within an Early Years setting
A background supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
A CACHE Level 3 qualification (or similar) - desirable but not essential
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners
