Teaching Assistant Primary School - SK4, Stockport Full-time | Long-term | ASAP start Pay: £13.69 - £15.87 per hour Reeson Education is recruiting for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in SK4, Stockport. This is a full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant role starting immediately, supporting children in the school's dedicated SEN base. The school is looking for a caring and flexible Teaching Assistant who can support KS1 pupils with a variety of needs. You'll be part of a supportive team, working closely with the SENCO and senior leaders to ensure every child receives the right provision. As a Teaching Assistant, your role will be varied and rewarding - no two days will be the same. You will work with children on a 1:1 basis, deliver small group support, and adapt your approach daily to suit the varying needs and abilities of the pupils. As a Teaching Assistant, you will: Support KS1 pupils with SEN in the school's provision base Work 1:1 and with small groups to meet a range of needs Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and SLT to deliver tailored support Help children with communication, social, and emotional development Adapt activities and approaches to suit varying abilities and complex needs Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment Show resilience, flexibility, and creativity in your approach Be a consistent, dependable presence for pupils with SEN Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families Commit to making a lasting difference as a Teaching AssistantThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs in a mainstream primary environment.
