Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Scunthorpe
Contract: Full-time (temporary)
Pay: £90-£105 per day
Provide Education is working with primary schools in Scunthorpe to find a teaching assistant, ideally with experience in a primary school setting. Working on a full-time basis to support pupils, this role provides an opportunity to develop your career and enhance pupils' learning.
Key responsibilities:
* Support teachers in the classroom
* Work closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure that each student receives the support they need.
* Help teachers deliver engaging lessons while promoting and supporting positive behaviour in the classroom.
* Provide one-on-one or small group assistance
Requirements:
* Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 1, 2 or 3)
* Previous experience working with primary-aged children (ideally in a school setting)
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
