🏫 About the Role
APT Education is recruiting a confident and experienced KS2 Teaching Assistant to support a dynamic primary school in Birmingham. This full-time role begins in January 2026 and is ideal for a TA with strong knowledge of SATS preparation and targeted pupil support.
You’ll work alongside class teachers to:
* Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions in English and Maths
* Support pupils in the lead-up to KS2 SATS with tailored revision and catch-up strategies
* Reinforce classroom learning and help bridge attainment gaps
* Provide pastoral support and maintain positive behaviour strategies
👤 About You
We’re looking for a proactive TA with:
* Recent experience in a UK primary school, specifically KS2
* Proven ability to support SATS preparation and booster sessions
* Strong literacy and numeracy skills
* Excellent communication and classroom support techniques
* A valid Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
