Job Title: Teaching Assistant – Level 2
Pay rate: £90.21 - £95.26 per day
Location: Stratford‑upon‑Avon (3–19 special school)
Hours: Full-time
Smart Education is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant – Level 2 in the Stratford‑upon‑Avon area for an immediate start or January intake.

Job requirements:
• Must hold a Level 2 qualification in Teaching & Learning or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6‑12 months’ experience working in a special education setting.
• Must hold a valid enhanced DBS (child/adult) and be able to complete compliance checks promptly.
• Ability to support and implement differentiated learning activities, work with individuals or small groups, and collaborate with teaching staff.
• Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and commitment to inclusive education.
Role responsibilities:
• Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality, inclusive learning experiences for learners aged 3–19 with a range of needs.
• Support pupils’ personal, social, and emotional development, fostering independence and positive behaviour.
• Contribute to planning, preparing, and adapting resources under teacher direction; monitor and report on pupil progress and behaviour.
• Collaborate with the wider team (teachers, therapists, SEND/nurture staff) to help meet individual learner needs and maintain a safe, supportive environment.
• Uphold the school’s ethos: mutual respect, tolerance, appreciation of individuality, and preparing learners for life beyond school.
