Location: Tower Hamlets, East London
Salary: £90-£110 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only

The Role
Veritas Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive two-form entry primary school in Tower Hamlets, who are seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and proactive individual who is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to achieve their full potential in a nurturing and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
Assist the class teacher and SENCO in delivering personalised learning programmes.
Adapt and differentiate learning materials to suit individual needs.
Support children's social and emotional development through positive relationships and encouragement.
Contribute to creating an inclusive, safe and stimulating classroom environment.The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in a primary school setting.
A caring, patient and resilient approach.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for helping children thrive and succeed.
A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).The School Offers
