 Contract: Full-time, long-term (with potential to become permanent)
 Pay: £85-£105 per day

About the Role

A welcoming and high-achieving three-form entry primary school in Lambeth is looking for a motivated and confident Teaching Assistant to join their Year 2 team from January 5th. The school prides itself on its inclusive ethos, excellent teaching standards, and strong sense of community.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate who's passionate about education and looking to gain meaningful classroom experience in a supportive environment. You'll assist the class teacher with small group work, one-to-one interventions, and general classroom support - helping pupils develop their literacy, numeracy, and confidence throughout KS1.

There is also potential for this position to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful Teaching Assistant will:

Hold a degree in a relevant subject such as English, Mathematics, Psychology, Education Studies, Sociology, or Child Development

Have some prior classroom or tutoring experience (school, mentoring, or childcare settings welcomed)

Demonstrate enthusiasm, reliability, and strong communication skills

Be confident supporting Year 2 learners with their core subjects and emotional development

Work collaboratively within a dedicated KS1 team and contribute positively to school life
