Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be supporting a successful and forward-thinking Secondary School in Trafford, who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and eager to help young people thrive both academically and personally.

Working alongside experienced teaching and pastoral staff, you will play a key role in supporting students across a range of subjects, helping to remove barriers to learning and ensuring that every pupil receives the guidance they need to succeed.
Role Responsibilities:
Providing in-class support across Key Stages 3 and 4
Offering one-to-one and small-group intervention sessions
Assisting with differentiated learning activities and classroom preparation
Building positive, supportive relationships with students
Promoting good behaviour and a constructive learning environment
Working collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff to meet individual needs
This position would suit someone with previous school-based or youth-support experience, or a graduate exploring a future career in teaching. The school offers a friendly working environment, excellent facilities, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Candidate Requirements:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive, patient, and encouraging approach
Experience supporting young people (school-based or otherwise) is desirable
A current DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
