Teaching Assistant – Inspiring Futures, Supporting Learning
Are you passionate about helping young people thrive? Do you enjoy working as part of a supportive, dedicated team? We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly centre based in Blandford Forum.
In this role, you will:
Support students with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) in their learning, across a range of subjects
Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging, accessible activities
Help create a positive, nurturing environment where every learner feels valued
Provide one-to-one or small-group support to help students build skills and confidence
Contribute to daily routines and the smooth running of the centre
We are seeking someone who:
Has experience working in a similar SEMH setting, youth work or sports coaching experience
Has a caring, patient and proactive approach
Communicates well with both students and colleagues
Is adaptable and willing to learn
Is committed to promoting the wellbeing and progress of every young person

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
