Teaching Assistant - January Start (SEND & Nursery)
Hours: Full time across SEND provision and Nursery
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Teaching Assistant to support SEND and Nursery at this popular infant school. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference to children with SEND needs within our dedicated provision.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will work across two key areas of our school:
SEND Unit (The Nest): Supporting a small group of children or working 1:1 for three mornings per week.
Nursery Unit: Supporting our SEND children during the remainder of the week.
We are looking for someone who:
Holds a minimum Level 2 childcare qualification (Level 3 preferred), meeting government requirements for Nursery ratios.
Has a Paediatric First Aid Certificate (if qualified after 2016). If you do not have this, we are able to arrange the training.
Is passionate about working with children with additional needs and creating an inclusive, nurturing environment.
Is reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
