Job Description
A passionate Teaching Assistant is required for a fantastic special educational needs school located in Walsall.
The role will be starting ASAP, this is a great opportunity for a teaching assistant who is looking to start or continue their career in Education and is motivated to inspire learning in children with varied and complex needs. The school caters for children from the age of six to fourteen with Autism (ASC). This school has a strong focus on inclusion and equality and aims to provide all pupils with essential life skills.
The successful candidate must:
* Have experience of working with individuals with special educational needs (SEND)
* Be able to inspire and motivate a broad range of pupils
* Have high expectations of yourself and your pupils
* Be an approachable and friendly team player
* Be a strong role model to both colleagues and pupils
What the role will involve:
* This school caters for a variety of ages, so you may be required to work with both primary and secondary aged students.
* You will be working with the children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
* Working alongside a reputable and experienced team of teachers and staff
* This school caters for a variety of ages, so you may be required to work with both primary and secondary aged students.
* Need to be confident, enthusiastic and be able to identify and engage with different learning needs.
