Primary schools across Worksop are working with Academics to recruit dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants for temporary roles from January 2026.
Our partner schools in and around Worksop often feature welcoming settings, supportive staff teams, and a strong community ethos where everyone works together to achieve the best for their pupils.
What does a typical day as a Teaching Assistant in Worksop look like?
Working core school hours, typically 8:15am - 3:30pm
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and within small groups
Using creative approaches to engage children and support their progress
Applying your knowledge of EYFS, KS1, or KS2 curriculum
Upholding school safeguarding and behaviour policies to ensure a safe, positive learning environment

Experience supporting children in a school or similar setting
A Level 2 or 3 Qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning is desirable
A valid Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one
A positive, 'can-do' attitude and a personable approach
