Position: Teaching Assistant
 Location: Wythenshawe (M23)
 Position: Full-Time Teaching Assistant
 Start Date: ASAP
 Salary: £13.69 to £15.87 per hour 

Working hours: 6 hours 15 mins only per day

We are looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to work across KS1, providing support to pupils with a range of SEND needs. This full-time, long-term role is perfect for a Teaching Assistant who thrives in a nurturing environment and is eager to support children in their learning and development.

Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:

Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with various SEND needs, including ASD, communication difficulties, social struggles, emotional needs, and anxiety.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning strategies.
Support pupils in staying engaged with classroom activities and promote their independence.
Adapt teaching resources to ensure all children can access the curriculum.
Occasionally provide additional support in Reception when required. 

Requirements for the Teaching Assistant:

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with SEND pupils, is highly desirable.
A patient, caring, and proactive approach to working with children.
Strong communication skills to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
A commitment to making learning accessible and enjoyable for all students.
