An Outstanding Specialist school local to you is looking for a vibrant and contentious teaching assistant to join there fun and friendly team. All applicants must be passionate, dedicated and committed to supporting learners in there learning journey and with there general well being, this is a school committed to supporting the whole child. Training will be provided by the school with regards to phonics, SEN knowledge and topic based learning. 

The specialist school in question supports 90 + SEN learners and is a mixed gender school. The setting proudly supports learners that require support with social communication, emotional regulation and sensory processing, typically associated with Autism. The school is recognised for being a warm and welcoming environment and recent Ofsted praised the school and team for its strong team atmosphere and family ethos. This role will include Whole class support, group support and 1:1 support so all applicants must be dedicated, inspiring and able to think on there feet. * NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) - Desirable
* Ideal candidates will be flexible, resilient and have a positive approach to supporting learners with SEN
● GCSE Maths and English or equivalent 
● Eligibility to work in the UK

Responsibilities:
● Supporting SEN KS1- KS2 learners on a 1:1, small group and classroom basis
● Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events
