Teaching Assistant - Secondary School 

Location: Maghull, Sefton
 Hours: Full-time, 5 days per week
 Working Time: 08:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday
 Start Date: 13/4/2026

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in the Maghull area. This is a full-time role, working consistently throughout the school week, supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.

The Role Will Involve:

Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs, both in and out of the classroom
Working closely with teaching staff and the SEN team to support learning and wellbeing
Providing one-to-one or small group support where required
Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate Will:

Have previous experience working within SEND or a specialist setting
Be patient, proactive, and committed to supporting young people
Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
Be reliable and available to work full-time hoursThis role is ideal for someone passionate about inclusive education and supporting pupils with additional needs in a secondary school setting.
